Get ready for Hairspray 2!! New Line Cinema has made a deal with the Hairspray creator to write a second movie.
No cast has been selected, and none of the stars had sequel options - but could it possibly be the same without Zac Efron, Amanda Bynes, and Nikki Blonsky?!?
The studio does hope to reunit the cast for a 2010 release and Hairpsray 2 will pick up with the Turnblad family after the resolution of the first film, which was set in 1962. Excited?
